Going Postal- Aftermath

Today I sat down to write thank you notes to all of the wonderful, generous people who have made our November theater project a resounding success. I have so much to be grateful for. Holly Becker of Decor8, writes that when your energy is low, you shouldn't give up, you should just give. (http://decor8blog.com/2013/11/27/how-to-regain-creativity/) I believe that applies to gratitude as well. There is always someone or something to be thankful for. Perhaps the Benadryl and wine put me asleep on Thanksgiving before I had time to properly express my gratitude. But here, a few days later- after the pop up theater readings, after the celebratory gala, after loading everything out of the post office, and after a day of rest- I am simply overwhelmed with gratitude. So, thank you for listening to me, designing posters, writing Face Book and blog posts, donating to our silent auction, acting in or directing our play readings, coming to the shows, re-posting our events, supplying tables, sound equipment, and support. Theater, like life is a collaborative effort and I am extremely lucky to have so many talented, generous people in my life. Working Class Theater NW is only possible because of our hard work, and I am so happy I don't have to do it all myself! You guys rock!I can't believe I didn't take a group photo. Or any photos. How about a cute photo of my cat, while I track down some pictures of the event?
